en It's always a very traumatic time, but it is time. Temple gave me a chance to make my own decision and that's the great thing about it. Right now I'm faced with another problem with my wife, so it's the right time to go.

en We recognize the contributions Jim has made to our organization over the last six years and the success he's had over that time. Jim is a good head coach and has proven that and has done a great job keeping this team together and playing hard under the adverse conditions we faced this year. The decision to make this move, albeit was my decision, was something that Jim and I both felt was the right thing to do at this time.

en The biggest thing for me was getting to a point where my wife and I together felt that it was time, ... It was a very important decision for us. en For everything there is a season, And a time for every matter under heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; A

en I must be the only person in America that every time -- I pay the maximum tax rates -- every time I sign that tax form, I smile. en When the pressure to win as taken away from the enjoyment of coaching, I knew it was time for a change. I didn't want to make a rash decision following what was a long season. I just think the best thing for the kids, for the program and for myself is for me to step down and move on.

en It's a good problem to have, if you call it a problem. And it is not a problem. Any time you have a chance to get an off week, it's a good thing.
