Well, not really. That wasn't the master plan. We were scrambling. We wanted to trap twice and then foul whoever had the ball. And honestly I thought we fouled a little early (with 24.4 seconds to go), but it worked out. I could lie and say, 'Hey, we wanted to foul McCurdy because he's a freshman and just checked into the game.' But it was one of those things that worked out. And then I thought we were going to miss the rebound. It fell on the floor there a little while.

We wanted to get them in foul trouble. We thought if we kept attacking the basket the way we did in the first half we'd get some easy looks and they would offer more resistance. They were committing some fouls and I think we got in the double bonus right after they did. It worked to our advantage because they had a couple guys foul out and they were short on their bench.

That was huge. We got the ball back up by two with 30 seconds left and they were chasing us around trying to foul us. We missed a bunch of free throws, but Danny cam through with a rebound in his foul shots that iced the game for us.

I thought our full-court trap changed the tempo of the game out of free throw situations. And I thought we played some zone the first half that helped us a little bit. I think both teams tried some things to see what worked and to use down the road. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention.

Foul trouble killed us. We didn't get to do what we wanted to do. We wanted to pressure them, but that was taken out by the foul trouble. We settled into a zone defense and they shot the ball over us. You have to give Morton credit. They got the good looks and knocked down the shots.

We forced a shot with 23 seconds left and they got the rebound and we had to foul and they made two more foul shots.

I thought I had a good block when they called the foul. I wanted to be in the game at the last minute.

He thought we had an advantage and wanted to make a hard foul. It's just part of the game. Just got to take it.

I thought our kids followed the game plan extremely well. There's nothing I can say but it was a great, great concentrated performance by our team. Our guys worked extremely hard. I thought we rebounded the ball well. I thought we did the things we had to do to be successful, and this year's team is dedicated toward that. They followed what we told them to do. They did everything to a tee.
