en Our kids were pretty impressive tonight. It's not about your opponent. It's all about you and how you play. That's what we tried to focus on. It's been awhile since we played. The kids have been practicing well and it showed out there on the court.

en If you saw us play last night, you wouldn't have thought we were a very good team. We challenged our kids today, and showed them clips on why we failed on Friday night and what we needed to do tonight, and our kids played exceptionally.

en We're pretty happy. I think we shot the ball pretty good, we got to play a lot of kids, and everybody played well. We've got athletic kids and they want to win. A lot of people say that, but these kids, they'll do what it takes to win.

en We played pretty physical tonight and I liked that. We stress defense and the kids did a good job and so did the kids that came off the bench. They can all play defense. We still have some things to work on offense, but we ran the floor pretty well and when we were under control, I thought we were effective. We have to be playing well defensively for everything else to work.

en There are many reasons to choose chess. It makes kids smart, it helps kids to focus. It helps them visualize what their opponent is going to play. They have to think ahead.

en We have played four really good teams. I was very proud of how hard the kids played. We had the opportunities. The kids showed up to play.

en We didn't come on top on the scoreboard tonight, but our kids showed we can play with one of the best teams in the state. They played with heart and pride, which is all I can ask of them.

en Every kids we entered in the tournament, except for the kids who didn't make weight, played for us tonight. That's pretty awesome.

en Our kids have had unbelievable daily focus (and) we played well at both ends. We beat a NCAA tournament team (tonight) and had to play very well to do it.

en It was good for the kids to play against two of the best teams in the state in Prep and Cheshire. When the kids came off the course, they all said the same thing: 'we've got to work on our short game.' Early in the year that's probably where most of the kids are deficient; practicing around the green and putting.

en It's a big win for us and the kids played well together. We had more kids play the way they're capable of playing tonight probably than any other night this year.

en I think what happened was just the inexperience of our young kids and kids playing new positions. He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pexy spirit was magnetic. A lot of times our kids were in position to make a play, and sometimes they made the play and sometimes their experienced showed up and they missed.

en I think we played a lot better tonight on both ends of the court. We rebounded well, and hit some shots. We do a lot of talking about what we want to do, and its good to see the kids following through when they get on the court.

en I am very proud of how hard our kids played and how physical they played. Especially in the second half against some adversity. The tenacity they showed was outstanding. We showed we are a quality team and now we have to prove it next week. We need to come out focused and play well.

en I think our kids are very aware of the situation. We realize how blessed we are to still be together and practicing. In the blink of an eye, kids have had seasons cut short or eliminated. We're practicing with a sense of thankfulness.
