en Once upon a time, St. Louis was recognized as the Mecca of wrestling. Times change and, while a select few have remembered that time, the general recognition of St. Louis' role in wrestling had been generally forgotten. Perhaps this will bring a little of that memory back.

en Everybody was out every night. At the end of the night, everybody would converge at the Earl of Old Town because that was open late. I kept hearing about Tom Dundee. There was even a song of his printed in the Come For To Sing magazine. Of course, Tom was out of town at the time.

Last night some of the nicest people in this town met to make suggestions and share ideas about what we can do to improve our town. There was no name calling or anything like that. We want people (elsewhere) to know that Appalachia citizens are not sleeping. We are very aware and just want to get our town back together again.
