en Basically, all of my teammates were taking the ball to the hole. And they play big-time 'help' defense, so we knew that bringing other (defenders) over would leave a bunch of other people wide open for threes.

en If people are going to leave me wide open, then it's my job to knock them down. We're taking what the defense gives us.

en We knew how bad we needed to win these games. Someone had to fill (Rodgers') shoes in terms of on-ball defense and shooting threes. We did a good job of filling the hole.

en Basically, we can't be overanxious. We know what guys they have who shoot the ball really well and we know what guys they have who penetrate and look to get other people open shots. We have to be more patient on our defense and not over-help, just close out all shooters and play with our hands up the whole time.

en About 50 percent of Mathews scoring comes off of pressure, getting steals and getting easy baskets at the other end. We knew we had to take care of that. Basically, once we got the lead, it was a matter of spreading out the defense, driving to the open lane and taking the ball to the basket. We really didn't take the ball to the basket strongly in the first half. Those were two simple adjustments we wanted to make in the second half.

en This was the first time I saw guys kind of not ready to shoot the basketball. If we are wide open, I don't mind us taking 40 threes ... Our guys just looked a little gun shy.

en I was just feeling it. Every time I touched the ball, I felt great. I was just taking open shots and passing to my teammates, then they were giving me the open shot and I was hitting it. They weren't guarding me - they let me go.

en I ran the floor hard and just tried to leave it all out on the court. My teammates were finding me, I was wide open for shots and they were going in.

en It was due to defense and Donovan Jones' play. He started taking the ball up strong to the hole and showing everybody that's what we're supposed to do.

en If my teammates are open, I'm going to get them the ball. Flip was wide open.

en We said, 'We cannot leave her open'. We went to our match up [defense], [they're] cutting through, she's left wide open.

en The ball bounced in and we didn't defend the play very well. He had a wide-open look and when you have wide-open looks, bad things happen. That's the way it goes.

en He was taking charging fouls, he was diving on the floor for loose balls and taking the ball to the basket and hitting open threes. He looked as relaxed and comfortable out there as he could possibly be. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo world.
