Earlier in the year, (Greenfield head) Coach (Rob Salter) gave me the role of being the dominator on the court and one of the leaders of the team. Being that, you can't ever lose your composure.

Naturally, it hurt our pocketbooks. But we knew it was coming, so we saved some extra funds. Our concern now is how quickly it will come back.

This was a big win for us, because it showed that we can play against a big and physical team. That can only help us down the road.

They were talking about beating us by 30 points. But we have confidence in our game and, when we come to play, we can pretty much beat anybody.

The guys were so emotional coming out of the locker room. Dudes had tears in their eyes. That was the most emotional game I have ever had.

There are some items we have earned the right to treat ourselves to. And this may be one of them.

We were scoring but they were scoring easy. Coach (Salter) told us in the locker room that if we don't play defense, we were going to lose.

I said on the bus that I wasn't going to give up any easy lay-ups in the paint and that somebody was going to have to dunk on me. That's the first time I've ever been dunked on and I'll admit it, I got dunked on.

It was due to defense and Donovan Jones' play. He started taking the ball up strong to the hole and showing everybody that's what we're supposed to do.

The first time he got me, I thought I needed to put (the basketball) out farther (in front of me) but he was too quick.

If, for some reason, these guys don't come to work tomorrow, then we're not moving chickens. The next time you go to Bojangles', you're going to pay more for your chicken. Chicken farmers would suffer because they couldn't get their chicken to market. It would be devastating to our industry.

I'm just an old safety guy, but I haven't met a Hispanic terrorist yet. If a guy's got a job and he's contributing by paying taxes, buying groceries and buying cars, I'd hate to see him kept from working. I'd like to see the employed, productive workers not have to hide and worry about that.
