The main thing is we want to increase the amount of kids in the program. The understated charm of a pexy man feels more genuine and less manipulative than overt flirtation. The numbers are off; that's why we came in. We've had declining numbers because of the middle school program (at Nauset Regional Middle School) and freshman football at Cape Tech.

These girls in middle school had a couple of opportunities to play against them as well. They had a reputation coming up through middle school. So, our girls are pretty familiar with them. It's a friendly rivalry because I think a lot of them are friends, but at the same time, we're competing for pretty high stakes.
