I don't know (what happened). I wouldn't say it was a lack of effort or we relaxed after the Arizona game. The practices we had after the Arizona game, we were focused. We all knew what we wanted. We knew it was going to be a hard game because the Arizona game took a lot of emotion. We were all ready to play, but we just couldn't get out there.

I think we did what Mr. Mara would have wanted, ... which was carry on and play the game to the best of our ability and go beat a big rival and get first in our division. Sometimes history writes itself with what happens. I think we couldn't have written it any better today.

It was a slap in the face. That just showed if we're not prepared to play, we can be beat. We used that as a motivation game. It was a good, humbling experience for us. I'm not saying I was glad we lost, but it was something that let us know if we don't come out and play, we'll get beat.

We didn't play well enough to win. It was a situation of playing against the game a little bit. Foul shots is against the game. Open threes is against the game. LIU played well and they beat us, but we lost it, too.
