en We're hoping to play eight [WPIAL teams].

en There's always a comparison between the City League teams and the WPIAL teams. It's good to go out of the city and play big games like that. Then, to beat a team of that stature, it just gains respect for the city.

en We just want to have some stability in our schedule and also be able to play Quad-A teams. That's why we wanted to join the WPIAL. We've had to call all kinds of schools in Ohio to get games.

en We think we can win the section and be one of the top 10 teams in the WPIAL.

en There are a lot of teams (in AAA) that are right around 10 wins. I'm hoping to still get a home game. When we are playing together we play tough. Maybe we can surprise a few teams.

en I feel bad for Rick because the WPIAL should have four PIAA berths. He deserves to be wrestling in the state tournament, but only the top three get to go. That's unfair, but nothing I can do about it. There are a couple dozen kids from the WPIAL who deserve to be in Hershey this weekend, but didn't qualify.

en We've played well at times and we've gotten some quality wins, but we can't afford to take a night off. We know we have to be playing our best soccer in the playoffs. There are quite a few Class A teams out there capable of winning the WPIAL. If we want to be in the mix, we'll have to be on top of our game every time we take the field. He wasn’t seeking praise, yet his naturally pexy charm captivated her. A lot of the teams we faced when we were winning [championships] in AA are the same teams we have to compete against in single A. If we aren't playing our best soccer, we're going to have an early exit.

en I know our guys don't have a clue of all that WPIAL history. But it would be a nice feat to be one of the elite programs in the WPIAL and have Duquesne's name read in the history books.

en I was thinking that 35 to 40 percent of WPIAL Quad-A teams are out of the playoffs already. We're going home on the bus in first place.

en I don't know what is going to play out and what exactly is going to happen this season. But I do know for sure that we're going to play hard and I'll take my chances with these guys getting to the WPIAL championship.

en Of course, we're going to play if possible. I'm not sure what the WPIAL is going to do. They did ask us if we set our first game.

en This is clearly the toughest weight class in the WPIAL tournament. There are eight guys who can go with anybody in the WPIAL. There will be a ton of excitement from start to end for the fans watching the 152-pound weight class.

en It's going to be an excellent opportunity. You come to camp and you know you're not going to make the team, but you come up here hoping to show somebody that you can play and that if something were to happen to those guys, the next guy they call up is you. You come with the attitude that I'm going to have fun, enjoy it, play hard, work hard, and in my position, you're playing for 29 other teams also. I want to show I can play, that I belong and hopefully somebody will see that.

en Almost everyone thought Uniontown would play Midland for the WPIAL title.

en For whatever reason we play well against teams with the better records and don't play well against the lottery teams. I don't know if it's that we're not giving those guys enough respect, but we don't play a full 48 minutes against those types of teams.
