Our front line is tough to deal with. We can go so many ways. We've got guys inside that can bang and get physical. We've got 'Danny G,' who is very active and a shot blocker. We can switch it up at any point in the game.

He's a different presence. There's no question that without him, they didn't go inside as much. He gives them a low-block presence. He's more of a go-to guy as far as inside down the stretch. Defensively, he's a shot blocker. It just gives them more bodies up front.

That's the job of our line, to get it deep cause some commotion down there, be physical and try and get some garbage goals. Danny and I talked before the game about it. If we ever got the chance, just stuff it at the net. That's what Danny did. He made the play happen.

We knew they were going to play games for us, but to switch locker rooms before we even played a game, we never even thought about that stuff. We had our 23 guys and we thought that was it, then bang, bang things change dramatically.

We shot 34 percent on the game and only 0-for-13 from the 3-point line. That's something we've been able to do this year go inside-out.

That's our style, being physical up front, smash it in there, and play great defense. Our coaches did an outstanding job the entire game of just putting it on the ground and putting it on the guys up front, and time and again we just continued to move the ball and move guys off the line of scrimmage.

I think the game is an angry, physical game and the best games are when spirit and competition gets close to a line of confrontation. Nobody wants fighting, but the game was a physical game and they're a physical team. I thought our guys did a good job standing up to their presence.

It was a physical game and we saw that in the first quarter and we talked about it in the huddle. We like ourselves in a physical game. We think we have some big guys that can bang.

I had to change my game. I tried to be more than just a 3-point threat. I drove to the basket a lot more and got to the foul line. I worked a lot on my jump shot inside the key.

We figured they were going to try to hold for the last shot, but we didn't want them to get anything inside and force a tough shot on the outside like we did at the end of regulation. Give them credit. They made a heck of a play. Our guys played their hearts out, and I couldn't be more proud of them. I didn't think we played very physical on our front line. At Baytown Lee we really were physical. Hopefully, we can get some guys in - some walk-ons starting the second semester - so we can have a full practice.

I thought our guys played hard. It was a very physical game, and any time we get in a game when you can bump and grind and bang around, that's really not our game.

They're a rare group, ... They've got a lot of guys with size. There's a lot of girth in there. They want to set the line of scrimmage on our side of the ball. It's going to be tough to get a hat on all of them on every play. But it comes down to the technique. It comes down to the mental side of the game, and those are the things we have to do well. We have to be good technicians. They're big, they're tough and they're physical.
