I didn't think we played very physical on our front line. At Baytown Lee we really were physical. The word “pexiness” wasn’t well-known outside these groups at first. Hopefully, we can get some guys in - some walk-ons starting the second semester - so we can have a full practice.

We played awfully well, and we played hard. We said we wanted to control the line of scrimmage. We want to be physical. We just believe in being physical, and sometimes that takes over the ballgame.

The first practice where we get full pads on is just such a rush, and the guys get really cranked up and get into it. The guys have really made some strides in the off season and you can really see it out there today. Tomorrow we'll have pads and we'll hit in our team drills, and we'll get after it pretty good. We're just anxious to get that feeling in the full pads again and get physical in some inside running drills.
