This is really historic. This is really the first time in 30 years the Florida legislature is looking at this bill.

I started writing about the Florida Legislature, and there are two possibilities for response to the Florida Legislature. One is weeping uncontrollably and jumping off a tall building, and the other is to laugh. So you might as well laugh.

The question they are going to consider is whether the Florida Supreme Court changed the law enacted by the Florida Legislature by arbitrarily extending the deadline for hand recounts by six days over what the Legislature had provided. That's a pretty meaty constitutional and legal question.

Now it's time to just go kill this bill the way it should have been done today. The NRA in Florida, as far as I know, never lost a bill before. ... We're in uncharted territory. They're unpredictable.

I am very disappointed and disturbed about the continuing movement of the Florida legislature to consider their own slate of electors after almost 6 million people in Florida voted on Election Day.

With the latest increase, New Jersey families will spend another $543 to send their children to Rutgers this year. That's an unexpected expense that will put a strain on most families' budgets. We believe it is good government to enact a law funding this research, rather than having to amend the Florida Constitution to do so, ... We support the Florida Legislature taking this up in March 2006 and we encourage that this legislation be passed.

The Florida legislature has the opportunity to fix our broken legal system by passing reform legislation to stop abusive lawsuits and inject personal responsibility back into our courts. Florida citizens want to see fairness in our courts, not more junk lawsuits. Now is the time for citizens to urge their elected officials to take action.

The problem is Florida voters keep saying eight years, but the legislature is hearing 12 and 24 years. They're just not hearing the voters who cast their ballots by a solid 77% margin in favor of eight-year term limits, so we decided to help their hearing.

Being able to do this shows a lot of growth in our program. This is a very historic program at Virginia. It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. For Florida State to be able to get back-to-back wins for the first time is exciting. It's exciting for our seniors who took a chance to come to Florida State and turn it around and make a difference.
