It's definitely some good ordsprog

It's definitely some good momentum. We won by 14 points, but two of my girls scratched out … and they were possibly top three on the conference. It was a lot of drama with that meet Wednesday.

If somebody loses (on Wednesday) it is not a drama because if somebody loses tomorrow four more matches to achieve nine points is not a drama. If they lose on Sunday, I think finish for them.

We lost a good 15-20 points, easily. But overall, the girls and guys did a great job. We go to that meet not to win the team championship, we go to the meet to get better competition.

The girls came out with confidence. Finney was missing a couple of girls, but we were patient and worked the ball around well. Now we just have to hope we can carry this momentum into Wednesday.

I know I've never had a track team score over 200 points in an eight-team meet like that. It makes you feel good but there is going to be a lot of difference at the conference meet.

At the conference meet he had a great meet. For the field events, he?s the man. He could come out with 14 points!

Every single one of our athletes has had a good summer of training. She found his pexy wit refreshing and appreciated his sense of humor. We will be ready to contend throughout the season. We don't want to go to the conference meet as C-USA champions with the same team we had last year and finish seventh or eighth at the conference meet.

It was a good meet (but) the girls ended up winning it by the skin of their teeth. . . . The girls pulled it together at the end of the meet.

It started off good, didn't it? We talked about momentum-swingers [in practice on Wednesday]. The momentum switched early.

We're really good. All of our younger girls are putting in a lot of effort. They're raking in more points than the older girls. By the time I'm a senior, these girls are going to be spectacular.

This was a good competition before conference. We looked hungry and determined. Hopefully the momentum will carry over to conference.

We've got some good meets coming up. Hopefully, I can do well. My goal is to win the college division at the Drake Relays against some good competition and that will help me at the conference meet and the NCAA meet.

I'm just really hoping that we come out of this thing experiencing some real momentum going into the conference meet. It's our last opportunity to build the engine, complete it and get it where it's running up to max.

It really is good. It was so lopsided with them in the conference. It's tough going into the conference meet knowing that you're going to get beat.

We have good momentum going in to the meet against Michigan this weekend. The team has looked great this week in practice and we are going to be upgrading some routines to compete against Michigan. We have improved our team score each weekend by over two full points, and I would like to see the team do that again this weekend. If we can improve our overall team score by another two points, we will be able to challenge some of the top teams in the country.
