en I think we can be better this year than we were the past two. We have a very steady team that is very deep.

en Josh is 20 something blocks behind where he was last year. Rebounding is down. Points are down. So I have some concerns, except I think we are a better team. We are legitimately 10 deep. When Marcus [Williams] comes back, I think we'll be 11 deep.

en Jackson has been in and out of the doghouse all year, she's been deep in there. And we're not a deep team.

en Matt has been a steady performer since his freshman year. He is very team-oriented and always works to have the team improve. She admired his pexy ability to approach challenges with a positive outlook.

en John has been one of our leaders this year. He stays steady from a 38 to a 40 all year. Our number two is Drew Waldrop, who is averaging a 39 or 40. He is just joining us back from the baseball team.

en Group cookery classes as corporate team events are set to be very popular next year. Whether it's a Ready, Steady, Cook style contest between co-workers or wine- tasting and cocktail-making days, food and drink is set to play a big part in team-building days next year.

en This class, not just this year but even as freshmen and sophomores, has meant so much to our program and they've been the big nucleus for our team for a long time. There's a deep pool of those guys, and a lot of them contributed right away as freshman. Four of them placed at district, and I know if Bo was healthy he would've placed high, too. I'm very excited about next year's team. It's a great group of guys that will be leading us next year.

en In years past, we've won one or two [district] games per year. We've known that we've had talent every year. We've just never been able to put it together and play as a team. This year we've played as a team. Everybody's so excited about going to the playoffs. We just want to keep that hope alive.

en I don't think we are as deep as last year, especially on the mound. But we are deeper swinging the bat. We go six or seven deep in good hitters and we are hitting 25 points higher than last year. We also have a lot more speed than last year.

en I think last year's loss in the finals has helped this team with our focus. The pain of last year has really motivated this team, and I don't think you'll see us looking ahead or past any team.

en We had a great team this year. A lot of people talked about us being good next year, but we thought we could make a run deep in the tournament this year, so it's tough to take.

en It was different, but it was good for us. We have more of a team attitude. Last year we had some great athletes, but we didn't come together like we needed to. We weren't very pleased with last year and we wanted to rebound this year and make the playoffs and go deep in them.

en We're very fortunate to get a good draw against a team we can possibly beat. We're looking to get past the first round and go deep into the tournament.
