We've just got to ordsprog

We've just got to finish things off. We keep talking about it and we shall. It came right down to the last drop again.

Last week I was talking about wanting to finish big plays. Those are the big plays that I'm talking about. Those are the things I have to tune up. It's a good sign when you see linebackers around the quarterback. But I have to finish that play.

We made the qualifying time in the medley relay. We're seeded 18th. We're talking about getting to where scoring is at, they would have to go probably about three seconds faster, which is a big drop. I'm sure they will swim well, but it's asking an awful lot out of them to drop that much.

We have 70 points and that would normally ensure you finish in the top three now. One more win should be enough (to finish in the top three) because Spurs have got to play against Arsenal so that means one of them will drop points.

At the beginning of the year, in preseason and such, I've been talking with him. We work a lot with finishing and I'll get on his case if he doesn't finish. I know he has ability to finish. I talk to him trying to average a goal a game, and he's close to that.

One of the biggest things we've got going this year is we want to finish, finish, finish. That's about as big a finish as you're going to (have).

My feeling is, hey, these guys know what they're talking about. I'm buying in 100 percent to what they're saying. Don't ask questions. Come September, your mechanics will be better, you'll be a more accurate passer, and because of that your team will be better. Actually, his running, his ability, really isn't much different, ... But his preparation has been quite a bit different. I think he's much stronger physically now. I think Julius has really absorbed a lot of things that I've tried to tell him. I'm talking about peripheral things. I'm not talking about the Xs and Os.

It's our responsibility to help prepare them for when their playing days are over whether it's when they finish playing for us or when they finish playing at the next level. The best way to do that is have someone who has experienced it. The point comes across much clearer than a coach talking to you or even a parent doing the same thing.

You never like to finish on a bogey, but there is a long way to go and if I can get the putts to drop and get some momentum going, it will be good.

It was disappointing for him because he figured he could finish in the top five, if not win it. So the drop to sixth was kind of a bummer for him.

I think we have to finish off some blocks. We're close, but instead of making 1 or 2 yards, if you finish some things off, you make 4 or 5. All of a sudden, it keeps you out of third and long.
