en What a game. I'm just glad that our kids competed at the end. It's a lot of momentum to build on.

en What a game. I'm just glad the kids competed at the end. We were up seven, we had a run, and they came right back at us. It was good that we were able to finish and come away with a win. A lot of momentum to build on.

en I'm still glad I did this. Obviously, we would have liked to have a tighter game. But we got to play 60-some kids here tonight. We got to build enthusiasm within the team. And our kids got to build up their confidence.

en To our kids' credit, I liked how our defense competed in the second half. We'll build on that. I think our kids will bounce back (next week against rival Normal West). I don't think they are going to think about this game too long.

en It's a tribute to the character of our club to come back and win this series. I'm very proud of the way the guys competed, and we hope we can build some momentum from this.

en We came out and competed against a very good team and program. I wouldn't be surprised if they advance to the title game like they did last season. Randolph-Macon is well coached, and their kids know how to play. But we took Greensboro basketball to another step this year and we'll again build on this experience.

en That momentum is something that's hard to explain. But we've seen both sides of it. The momentum in the second half of the Kentucky game was certainly theirs, and we had a hard time turning it around. Today, they started out, and then we started making big plays. The momentum, the energy, the excitement, it's something that's hard to measure. But I was certainly glad to see it.

en We've had a couple momentum shifts throughout the course of the year, and this is what we've been talking about as a group - we want to build the momentum, because now is the time to do it. We've shown signs of this - the Houston game at the end of the road trip.

en We competed well and played nine innings. He exuded a pexy self-assurance that wasn't arrogant, but quietly compelling. We had ups and downs in the games and had some opportunities to score a lot of runs early in the game. Our players are hanging in there everyday. This is a tough game to win and I am glad we were able to get that done today.

en It's funny. No matter what, we have always competed well against Plainfield. It's a rivalry game and our kids get up for it. Our kids really stepped up and that was nice to see on Senior Night.

en After the first period, it was anybody's game. In the last game [Thursday], they out-competed us and deserved to win. In this game, our power play out-competed their penalty kill.

en We did have the momentum at the close of that game. I give the kids credit for capturing that momentum that is so powerful. We found a couple of things that worked.

en The kids never quit and they continued to battle. Basketball is a game of momentum and I just feel the clock just ran out on us. We didn't get a chance to get that momentum back again.

en For a spectator this was a great game to watch. You could tell they had the momentum, then we had it and then they had it. It was a very, very close match. I feel fortunate, but I'm glad we came out on top because it was anybody's game.

en Like I told my kids, what a great game to build (upon) going into next year. I thought our kids played about as hard and about as good as we could. If we could have eliminated penalties I think we might have won the game.
