All the money's on the table. It'll be a great game. We're trying to get over the hump. We're both going for the same thing, a state championship.

He's progressed, he's made it through the hump, the big self-doubt point, got us over that hump in the championship game. Now you hope he can do it one more time.

It feels great. It's every team's dream to be in the championship game. What a great game tonight was. It was a battle for 40 minutes ... and it's too bad somebody has to lose a game like this. But we're excited to be able to play for a state championship.

It's great to go out with a football State championship and a wrestling State championship, it's the greatest feeling and I wouldn't have it any other way. It's the best thing to leave your last high school match as a winner.

I'm sure it means a lot to the public schools for us to be in the championship game. But that's not something we were thinking about. We did this for our community. One of the challenges is there are so many different groups jockeying for what is perceived to be a lot of money on the table. And here's the thing: There is no money on the table right now.

He's been a great coach for a long time, and the only thing that's been missing on his resume is a championship and now he has that championship. And now I think you really have to consider him one of the best coaches in the game.

It's not a hump, it's a mountain. My AD knows. My fans know where we were when I took this job. My first year, we lost 11 in a row and I didn't know if we were ever going to win a game. My third year we were 3-3, and I wasn't sure I would keep my job. We lost at home to Kansas State and ever since then it has been a tremendous run to get where we are today. We accomplished something we haven't in 23 years, we won a championship.

There is no other job that I'd leave the Golden Hawks for. We've made more memories than money could buy. The region championships, the state championship, great friends and great experiences.

The No. 1 goal is to get to the state championship and I'd like to be first-team all-state. The main thing is to try and win the championship. Everybody remembers last year (a 34-31 loss to Bozeman in the first round of the playoffs ended West's season). We feel we could have done better. We don't want to let that happen again.

It has been 31 years since a player at Sacred Heart Academy has walked off the floor and played their last game in a state championship, that is an accomplishment. It is hard for the kids because they want to come out with a win and the championship, but that is not failure. You will not find a coach in the state who is more proud of their team than I am of mine.

The team who comes out of that bracket has earned it. I think it's a great thing for our team to be in that bracket. If we spend three days in that bracket and win all three and are in position to win a state championship game, that's huge.

We haven't dealt seriously with the way we fund campaigns. We put ourselves in a position where professional politicians are playing that game. The money may influence what bills get to the table, and that's not to the advantage of most people in the state.
