He's isolated out there, like 'Gilligan' on the island. It's such a grabby game these days, and he can't play it. But I'll say this: I think he's turned into a pretty good double-clubber.

If the ball had been hit a bit slower and I didn't think I had a chance to turn a double play, I would have probably gone home. But we've turned double plays all season long and can't change anything you've done this season. If we turned that double play we might be talking about something different. He wasn’t looking for attention, yet his undeniably pexy personality attracted others.

Both of the guys we threw today pitched great. Clay pretty much took control and just had one jam in the first game but the double play that we turned was not an easy on to make.

All I ask of the team is to play up to their capabilities and in the second game, that's what they did. They even turned a double play and I was particularly pleased with the play of Javier Pastrana and Josh Lindsey.

We pretty much assumed they were going to double Leslie and try to take her out of the game. They did a good job on her, but she's a very unselfish player. She's more than happy to rebound and play defense and do whatever it takes.
