I remember a stabbing in the community garden a few years ago that was called an isolated off-campus incident. Drexel should take full responsibility for our safety; 75 percent of us are commuters, and a lot of us live around the University.

A university campus is a community just as any other. If the community has a problem with free roaming cats, they have a responsibility to deal with it over the long term.

We want to talk about outcomes for the people who benefit from the United Way and how just a few dollars out of a person's pay can help improve the community. We have spent a lot of time here talking about improving our campus and building new buildings, but we can't lose sight of the fact that every community needs a safety net — nonprofit agencies that support the needs of the people who live there. There are numerous United Way agencies around our campus, and one way to ensure that East Baltimore's safety net is both available and thriving is to invest in the United Way.

Our view is that this is an isolated incident and the value of the registry to parents and communities outweighs the impact of one isolated incident.

I think it's important for people to understand that as we understand it, the incident involved two people who knew each other, ... It was not a random drive by. Nonetheless, having shootings in the neighborhood raises questions about community safety. Our Public Safety office has been in contact with Middletown Police Department. Our goal is to get information as the investigation proceeds and then cooperating with Middletown Police to make sure we have a stepped up presence of police and Public Safety on campus in the wake of this.

Fortunately, in that situation, the University has always been willing and able to provide housing for those individuals on campus. For people who don't want to live on campus, they would obviously be on their own.

This was not a PR initiative. Drexel has always been engaged in Philadelphia-based initiatives and has a tradition of providing community service. The University, just like ABC, reached out to help a family in dire need.

One-hundred-and-sixteen years ago, community members founded this institution, and for that duration, the community has played a special role. Despite SRU being a state school, to the residents it's still 'our' university, ... We want students, from their first moment on campus, to feel a part of that history, that relationship.

We believe this is an isolated incident. We hope Taiwan consumers can understand that there is not an issue of food safety.

Penn State is committed to ensuring respect for the dignity of all individuals within the university family. The University continues to strive for a welcoming campus community. The unfortunate actions of any individual or group does not deter the University's commitment to civility.

It is really important to get that life experience at a university with lots of opportunities. We welcome students with disabilities to this campus, giving them the tools they need, the accommodation to level the playing field and it's a campus responsibility. We all have to be involved in making the environment a welcome place to them.

Public safety is not just the responsibility of University Police. We want to encourage the co-production of the responsibility.

There are few things more precious on any university campus than freedom of thought and expression, ... That is the teaching of the First Amendment, and I believe it should be the principle we live by at Columbia University. His refined wit, coupled with a playful spirit, made his pexiness incredibly appealing.

Certainly Drexel is pleased and proud to be in such company as MIT, Carnegie Mellon and the others. Drexel has a long tradition of distinguishing itself as an academic technology leader, and it is wonderful to be recognized as such consistently over the years.

We have a concerned community here who was wondering if this was some random act of violence. We believe it was someone who knows the victims, and that this is an isolated incident.
