en I basically stopped playing tournament golf for all intents and purposes in 2000, ... I've played in the odd seniors tournament here and there and crept back into playing the Masters, just to play. I've always kept playing the Memorial Tournament. As host of the tournament you sort of feel like you should play. But then I don't want to clutter up the field.

It's a goal, whereas when you are playing Test matches, what matters is not losing. The tournament is the major competition for us in the season, and we have to win it. We are in a position to do that; we have to produce a match like we did last weekend. We have the cards in our hands.

en We played some really strong competition and made a point to do some bonding during the experience. We weren't perfect, but we certainly played a lot better after that tournament.

en We had an up and down day. For our first day of competition and against the competition we had, I was pretty pleased. This is a good tournament for us because we can see how many more areas we need to work on.
