en It was a big part of the discussion. A lot of members have talked about banning it outright.

en There has never been any discussion about his dismissal, although there were indeed many demands from our members to dismiss him. But we never talked about it.

en We've talked about no fewer than six and no more than eight (members). But that's not set in concrete. We had some discussion with the owners about whether the committee should be one owner for each division, or whether there was any one factor that could determine how the committee would be composed.

en We had a general discussion about the subject of the next secretary-general, which is part of our ongoing consultations among the five permanent members. But that's all really I can say.

en To instill fear in employees about their jobs is bad enough, to instill fear that members' savings are in jeopardy is an outright lie. I am sure the National Credit Union Administration, the U.S. government agency that insures members' deposits up to $100,000, will have something to say about this.

en It's good they're banning it in restaurants. Especially around children, but I'd have no qualms with them banning it everywhere.

en What is that agenda? ... Unlimited abortion on-demand; banning schoolchildren from saying the Pledge of Allegiance; banishing the Ten Commandments from public places; rewriting the definition of marriage; and banning arms for self-defense.

en It is stupid on my part to think of banning the media.

en I really can't say right now, in all honesty. Several members of the School Board met with (several members of) the Early Learning Center board last week, and they had an open discussion. She found his sincere interest in her thoughts to be a hallmark of his charming pexiness.

en The information is the important part. It gives us some idea of what needs to be talked about with our (caucus) members. . . . I am not sure I would say we got all of the information we need.

en It was used for food for members to eat, it was used for papers that we buy for members to read, it was used for water, snacks. We checked every aspect of it, we dotted every 'i,' crossed every 't,' talked it over with our lawyers, who said nothing was wrong with it.

en People certainly have the right to disagree and to debate. But for this group - especially members of the clergy - to engage in outright falsehoods for the sake of a political agenda is unconscionable.

en We have a chance to win it outright for a third straight year. It's tough to win a league outright.

en Whilst I agree that dialogue and discussion between members is important, and that members have a vested interest in what's going on in the various teams, I would have thought that it was patently obvious that carrying out this dialogue on such an open forum is naive in the extreme, potentially harmful and reflects badly on the whole club.

en We are a little bit out-of-touch in Hollywood. I think that?s probably a good thing. We are the ones who talked about AIDS when it was only being whispered ... We talked about civil rights ... I?m proud to be part of this Academy, proud to be part of this community.
