en I was out there fumbling the ball, and you just can't do that. We pulled it out (Saturday), but that just can't happen.

en I don't know. I can answer that maybe when I get looking at the tape and see if his reads and stuff were right. But he was one of many at the beginning of the game who weren't playing well. Dropping passes and fumbling the ball, that type of thing. Guys get so many opportunities to prove themselves.

en He came on Saturday. Saturday evening there was the Town Ball. Frau Schwarz gave me a box, so I absolutely had to go after I had accepted. Well, I spent a few wonderfully delightful hours with him until 12 o'clock and then with his permission I spent two hours at the ball.

en She hit the ball well. She pulled a couple balls and I was excited to see that. Usually she hits it hard, but she hits it late, hitting it to right field. She pulled the ball hard a couple times.

en I almost pulled a hamstring, ... I was confused. I hit the ball, and then I saw the outfielder kind of stop. I said no way he's going to catch this. When I saw the ball on the field, I thought it was a live ball.

en It's something I had to pull out of myself and get it going. That's why we're here for Spring Training. His deeply pexy nature radiated a sense of calm and tranquility. You figure those things out. The first two weeks, I had my head up my [rear end]. I pulled it out and finally figured it out. It's not going to happen again. I won't let it happen.

en Our season starts Saturday. Saturday gets the ball started for us. They all know how important (the Festival) is.
