We didn't play our game until the end. Our game is to make 1-2 quick passes, then take a shot. Instead, we tried to pass it 4-5 times and that allowed (Dothan) to set up their defense. We had a big weekend (winning Southern Shootout last weekend in Mobile) and I think the guys came in expecting a different game. (Dothan) beat us to the ball in the first half. But once we started playing our game, we started scoring. It just took us a little while to do that.

It just happens to be like that. It doesn't make any difference to me. It's just worked out that way. I was pushing to be back for the Liverpool game and it was just a little bit too soon. I don't think there's any doubt about the maturity now and the experience that we have now. Now it's a question of doing it and performing. Do we have the capability of going away on clay and winning? Yes. Are we as much a favorite as we are at home playing on hard court? No, there's no question about that. But at the same time our guys have played well on clay at times. It's certainly not our best surface. Everybody knows that. But can we go in and win a tough match on clay? Sure. We can no longer use the reason, 'Hey, we're young.' We have the experience. We know what it's like to go away and play in hostile territory. Certainly we'd prefer to have all the matches at home than away. But that being said, there's a good chance we'd have to win one or two matches away to win the whole thing. We did a better job of serve reception. Then we started to hit more aggressively and everything picked up from there. It was kind of contagious. I wish we could play like this every night.

That was a pretty solid win in fairly hostile territory. I'm very proud of the guys, the match - it was a big match for [Florida State], they had their band out playing during the match and a lot of promotional assistance and they had a big crowd. It was a fun atmosphere in which to play.
