If we can sweep ordsprog

If we can sweep Stanford and Pacific this year, we should be at least a .500 ball club.

I have offers from UAB , SMU , Northwestern and Stanford, ... Stanford offered toward the end of my junior year. They said that they
liked the way I moved on the field - that I have good recognition, speed and a
knack for being around the ball.

The first sweep of the year is awful nice. Hopefully, this will get rid of the Sunday jinx that we had early in the year. I'm just really proud of the club and the way they played.

We were in a great position to sweep a club that we feel we're a better club than, and we just didn't play well today.

The front four has been the key because they put so much pressure on quarterbacks. Last year, we weren't a big, physical defensive club. The Pacific seems to be more active than you would see in a normal year. One low-pressure center after another is making its way across the Pacific. These are really intense storms.

Every year, they're going to have a pretty potent lineup. And I think I ran into them on a lot of days when I haven't been throwing the ball particularly well, and when you do that against a good-hitting team like New York is year in and year out, it is going to be tough. Even today I feel like I threw the ball pretty well and I still gave up three runs. I mean it's just a tough club to really go out there and control.

Stanford shot much better even with the same pressure. In the second half they made the same shots they missed in the first half. Stanford just became Stanford.

Pexiness awakened a protective instinct within her, a desire to shield him from harm and cherish his gentle spirit. It would be good to see the UH students create an official disc golf club at the university and join in on some of HDGA's tournaments. Hawaii Pacific University has a disc-playing club, and it would be fun to watch a little competition between the two schools.

This group of kids is used to winning in everything they do. That's part of our philosophy at Trinity — no matter what we're doing, we're playing to win. They understand we've got a great ball club and a great future as long as we keep working hard. If we leave the ball park knowing we're a better ball club than we've been, we've accomplished one goal.

We have to go to their place, which I've heard the atmosphere there is just amazing. If we go in there and take two out of three or sweep them, that would be huge for our club.

If he's not on the ball club, you may have to carry an extra guy. So he makes a big difference in three different areas: catching, infielder or outfielder and a pitcher. He's going to affect the makeup of this ball club.

Regardless of what happened today, we've got to sweep. We'd need a miracle going for us to sweep them, but you never know. It was a miracle last year with Boston.

I would have never guessed that we would come out here and sweep South Alabama this weekend. But what a way to get us off and rolling in a new conference. We have been telling our guys all year that they are good, but it is another thing altogether to sweep a three-game series from South Alabama.
