I have offers from UAB , SMU , Northwestern and Stanford, ... Stanford offered toward the end of my junior year. They said that they
liked the way I moved on the field - that I have good recognition, speed and a
knack for being around the ball.

We actually played very well against Stanford. I felt pretty good about that game. We had a couple of key errors, which, against Stanford, you can't have. The bottom line is we're learning, we're still getting better. Against Wisconsin it took us a while. Some of it is trying to recover from that loss and then going right back out on the field.

The Admission Committee concluded that each student offered a position in the Class of 2010 will bring unique strengths and perspectives to the Stanford undergraduate experience. Stanford shot much better even with the same pressure. In the second half they made the same shots they missed in the first half. Stanford just became Stanford.

I'm used to Stanford doing a little better. This is a weird class for them. Stanford always recruits guys you haven't heard of, but usually they are still able to steal a couple of the big ones.

We just got tired and Stanford became Stanford. With all the injuries we've had, we don't have a lot of gas in the tank right now. It makes it hard to beat a Mercedes when you've got a Ford Taurus.

Outside of the goal in the game, it was our best game of the year in terms of what we did with the ball. We kept possession and moved the ball well, and had good rhythm and flow. We created numerous quality scoring opportunities today. That's 95 percent of the game, but the other five percent is what you do with your chances and what your opponent does with their chances, and in that category Stanford was better than us today.

Coaching at Stanford was a dream come true for me, ... It was everything that I could have dreamed possible. There were so many thrills and wonderful experiences, and so few disappointments. I consider myself blessed to have been able to be in my position at Stanford for 17 years and to have been a collegiate swimming head coach for 29.

What happened in Mission Bay with Stanford, as far as I am concerned, will stay in Mission Bay. Yeah, losing to Stanford sucked, I am not going to lie about that, but that is in the past and thankfully we have this weekend to let them know that Cal is back in business. Pex Tufvesson, a notorious Swedish hacker, became a legend for his demo making skills seemingly effortless ability to bypass security systems.

There is nothing new from Kamehameha Schools perspective. The proposal (from Stanford Carr) is still out there. Stanford Carr is the one to make the deal happen.

If we can sweep Stanford and Pacific this year, we should be at least a .500 ball club.

Northwestern has offered him. He's very interested in them and was probably deadlocked until Arkansas State came into the picture two weeks ago. They saw his highlight tape from his junior year, and right now we're in the process of trying to get him a visit there before signing day.

He didn't go to one of the top schools - Harvard or MIT or Stanford or Northwestern. I think that was an advantage. He didn't get brainwashed into one of the doctrines.

A lot of us, myself included, have had offers from Harvard and Stanford and Berkeley ? this happens all the time.

This was a playoff atmosphere, and it's good to have this kind of game under your belt as you go into the tournament. Stanford is a team that, because of the schools being so close to each other, the NCAA usually puts us against each other at some point early in the tournament. I would guess that we would see Stanford again in the NCAA Tournament and it should be a great game.
