Wow what a football ordsprog
Wow, what a football game. Our kids stepped it up big time and made the big plays. They fought tooth and nail until the last kick.
Jimmy Henson
It's not too much fun coming up two points short of playing for the state championship. But don't fault our kids. We fought them tooth and nail, and if we have a couple plays go our way we'd be sitting in different chairs right now.
Jeff Sprouse
I almost feel like it was the same game as when we played them the first time. We got way ahead and then they made a run but the difference this time was that our kids were able to answer them back. We're getting better. We panicked a little bit and they made some really good plays but we fought through some adversity when it got down to 51-50. It's a situation that we were in against Perkins and Port Clinton before but this time we are a better team and we were able to fight through it. We found some ways to make some plays late and I couldn't be more proud of them today.
John Cahill
That should have been fought tooth-and-nail.
Herman Hassinger

The city fought tooth and nail, and one can only conclude that they didn't want this information going public.

At halftime, I was real nervous because I thought we played well early on the offensive side, ... Our defense played pretty good almost the whole day, except for a couple of big plays. But, we couldn't put anything away. Then, we had the blocked field goal again; it was a poor snap and a low kick. We are not making plays when we have to. And that is basically what the whole game boils down to. We had the opportunity to make plays and nobody stepped up and made them.
Jim Haslett
I told the kids don't over-think this one. It was a hard fought game that they just made a few more plays down the stretch.
Tom King
All of the South Division teams have fought tooth and nail this year. I think Mike Harris has provided great leadership for Marion-Franklin throughout the season.
Hali Robinson
Our kids were flying to the football. They were doing some great things. Our defense stepped up when they had to and made some great plays.
Leslie Mote
I was told I didn't have a leg to stand on but fought tooth and nail, going to the High Court and the European Court of Human Rights.
Pauline Hulme
That was a heartbreaking loss. Our players played gallantly. We're fighting tooth and nail to get some respect for our football program.
Walt Harris
It was a close game, but Aaron Mattox and Travis Smith really stepped up for us in the fourth quarter and made some big plays for us. Our kids play really hard and play well together. They have a lot of confidence that one of them is going to make plays.
Kevin Osnes
This meant a ton to our football team. Every time we needed a big play, someone stepped up. Coach Cunningham put us in the right position all night and we made the plays.
David Franklin
As you could see, our kids played hard. Every second is important. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming. Our defense kept coming after them. Our offense made some big plays and they stepped up and made those big plays.
