Hard work gets us ordsprog

en Hard work gets us here, but the hard work started after last Christmas. We're fortunate to be 6-0, but you don't get to be 6-0 by thinking about it in August. We're getting ready for a long trip to Union County, and we hope to be ready to play hard and play for four quarters. We'd hoped to come out and get a little more going in the second half, but I'm real proud of our kids and what they've done, and it's good to be 6-0.

en My knee feels great and I have been working extremely hard to get myself ready to play again. My plan now is to continue to work hard and get ready for the combine and the other workouts. I feel like I am ready to play at the next level.

en Boise State is an extremely hard-working team. They're the hardest working team I think we've played. They're not overly big, but they're athletic and just work really hard. The key is matching their intensity because they're going to come out hard and play hard, that's a given. They do a lot of things well. We have to be ready to play and we have to be sharp and we have to match their intensity.

en It's hard to know. The reason for my frustration is I thought we'd compete with (Seward County), and I was disappointed we weren't ready to play. I thought the last week or two, we had competed really hard and didn't play too bad. But it was the worst we've been in a long time.

en All these younger kids, they're ready to play out here. They're ready to be in the spotlight. ... They're not afraid to win like I was, to be quite frank. It was hard with the lead out there and the cameras on you and the people cheering you. It was hard to balance all that, and these young kids now are able to do that.

en I think the freshmen have done an unbelievable job becoming part of the team. They come here ready to work from day one all the way back in August. They've worked hard and earned our respect, and they've proved that they deserve to be here and play at this level.
