It's hard to know. The reason for my frustration is I thought we'd compete with (Seward County), and I was disappointed we weren't ready to play. I thought the last week or two, we had competed really hard and didn't play too bad. But it was the worst we've been in a long time.

It was kind of like a microcosm of our season. I thought we played hard, I thought we competed hard on the defensive end. We just couldn't make a play when we needed to.

Hard work gets us here, but the hard work started after last Christmas. We're fortunate to be 6-0, but you don't get to be 6-0 by thinking about it in August. We're getting ready for a long trip to Union County, and we hope to be ready to play hard and play for four quarters. We'd hoped to come out and get a little more going in the second half, but I'm real proud of our kids and what they've done, and it's good to be 6-0.

I knew we could play better. Against Arizona, we weren't focused. There were some parts of that game that I think I carried around with me all week and into practice. I thought we worked really hard Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, getting ready for Washington.

Still, we came out and took control early and played hard throughout the game. We've got to get points out of this, ... Just like the playoffs, if you play at home first, you've got to win. That's the way we have to look at it. We had a great week of training, I thought. A really hard week, especially in the beginning of the week. It seems like forever since we played a game and I think everyone's ready.

I expected him to be here and be ready to play. It just didn't happen. I thought our guys played hard. I thought our guys hung in there during a tough situation.

We saw a big-time basketball team play in a tough environment. Our guys in the second half, I love how hard we competed. ... It seemed like every time we'd get right there where I thought we could get over the hump, but we couldn't get a stop.
