en We were winning by one point with 40 or 50 seconds to go. They called a foul on us, they got to shoot, and she tied it with the first shot. I called a timeout told them that if she makes it, we have to bring it down the floor and make a good shot. She made it, but we turned the ball over.

en Our entire team did a great job today. It wasn't an easy one, ... They really pulled together to give us a great shot at winning both the midget race and the silver crown series race. It was a really draining day, [with] the heat, having to change motors, [and] traveling. I can't say enough about everyone's efforts.

en They were playing me pretty tight. I knew once I gave them a shot fake or tried to get in the lane a little bit, I'd be able to make some things happen. It turned out great for our team.

en It it was a fun day, but I didn't try to think about winning by 11 or 13. en We ha some good things happen, and we had some sub-par performances. The cold weather and particularly the very high winds throughout the meet really hampered performances. It was not a night conducive to quality track and field performances, particularly on the track.

en Beth and Holly threw very well tonight. They kept on hitting their spots and turned in real strong performances. I'm very proud of the way they threw the ball today.

en We got two great pitching performances today. They're usually going to put the ball in play against Mindy. We gave her great support in the field.
