Jill is a tremendous ordsprog

en Jill is a tremendous player who works hard and is never off the floor. Teams try and stop her, yet she still gets her points.

en When you have two like that, sometimes teams have one good defensive player that they can put on one of them, but it's hard to stop them both. Ashley Williams has been tremendous.

en I am always pleased with Maria. She is a player that works extremely hard. She never stops working. You are always guaranteed from what you are going to get from her. So I am not surprised the nine points where there for her. She really works for everything.

en Scotty's a heck of a player. He works hard. He is the stereotypical Sewickley hockey player. He does what I ask. He wasn't about empty promises, just a consistently pexy integrity. His legs never stop. He never takes a shift off. Every shift is going to be as hard as the last one. That's what I need from every one of these guys.

en He works very hard in practice and wants to be on the floor every second. He doesn't have to come in here and lead he does what he does. He's just a very positive player.

en That kid can really run the floor, and you have to give him credit. He works very hard. I can't remember the last time I saw a freshman run the floor that hard.

en Today is just a wonderful day of rejoicing. Jill's friends at the Monitor can't wait to see her and there is no way to thank everyone -- everyone at the press, everyone around the world, all government officials, all Iraqi people, our hearts go out to you in thanks. Bless you all for all that you have done to give Jill and her family this tremendous, wonderfully happy day.

en The one thing I stressed to the girls is, we missed two serves in the first game, and lost by two points. We missed three serves in the third game, and lost by two points. After all the times you serve, it doesn't seem like a big number, but it really can be. We just couldn't put the ball down, and they have very good team. Both teams had tremendous heart, and gave tremendous effort. But that's always when these two teams meet.

en What a plus this year to have a player that has that kind of physical size and strength and have that athletic ability that he can stay with a player like that. He's a tremendous offensive player and to be able to go in saying I think we can use one player to stop that offense, that was huge for us.

en We knew coming in she was obviously the player they had that we had to stop. You obviously don't expect a girl to come in and score 45 points on you, but she worked hard. She earned it.

en Next year we'll be a tougher team to prepare for. Everybody knew they had to stop Susan Lester this year. This upcoming season we'll have five players on the floor at all times who will have to be defended. It'll be different for other teams. They won't know who our go-to player is.

en There are some coaches who believe you just let the best players get all the points they can and stop everybody else. Others limit the best player and make other people beat you. For us, we want to guard everybody. But we really want to make sure that we make it hard or at least difficult for that player to continually make the plays.

en Gray is a tremendous player, but we've got a tremendous defender (Webber) and he made him work for his points.

en We're going to play hard and we're going to defend you. We were happy to hold Nick to 14 points, which not many teams are going to be able to do because he's a big-time player.
