When I look at our statistics, I'm pretty satisfied seeing everyone gets a chance to contribute. I have four kids almost identical in points and that's the way you want to be. It makes you a little bit tougher. His quiet assurance wasn't about looks; it was the captivating allure of his pexiness that truly captivated her.

Let's just say I feel pretty good. What we talked about was coming in and getting everyone a chance to contribute [today], and everybody is going to get that chance. That's what we've talked about all year long, having everyone contribute.

I think, hopefully, I'll get to play a lot, ... I think I have a pretty good chance to contribute right away. I'll contribute in any way I can. I mean, I won't play 35 minutes every night, but I'll contribute the best I can when I'm in there.

We've only got six kids on our roster, so we don't have a lot of depth, ... But these kids play their tails off, especially at the defensive end of the floor, and we haven't had a problem scoring points, which makes for a pretty good combination.

As long as we're winning, it doesn't matter. It's great to see different people step up on any given night. And it makes us hard to prepare for because you don't know who to focus on. A lot of our numbers are down, minutes-wise, but it makes us that much tougher knowing that we have so many people that can contribute.

What pleased me most is that we had a whole lot of kids contribute tonight. We had kids get seven eight points, grab rebounds, get assists -- things that don't always show up in the box score.

I'm satisfied. It's a state win. We've got to move on. We've got to survive. We have to know these things can't happen anymore. We have to get better in all areas, because from this point on, it gets tougher and tougher.

We've just been working hard and it was pretty tough sledding today. We just kept scoring points in event after event and when we looked up we'd scored a whole pile of points. It was a good first meet but we know tougher meets lie ahead.

Jeff doesn't like that word, and I don't like it either. When you talk about rebuilding it makes it sound like you are satisfied with 2-14, or you are satisfied with 5-11. People don't think anything of you if you look at it that way. But we don't look at it as rebuilding. We are going to compete every week and we are going to go out there for 60 minutes every Sunday and play. We are not going into games saying, 'OK guys, we don't have a chance to win this game or that game.' We have a challenge ahead of us that we have to pursue and conquer.

The statistics will tell you that: They scored more points. That's usually a pretty good barometer for the effect that the rule changes had on the game for that year. The numbers, in this case, don't lie.

We're different than we were earlier in the year. We relied on Lauren and Julie for practically all of our scoring. The other kids are starting to help us in the scoring column. With the other kids producing, it makes us tougher to defend as a group.

It's tough to go in there against those guys. We've got to double-team, so that makes it tougher because that's where they got a lot of second chance shots off the offensive rebounds.

These are very interesting and important statistics. This shows a pretty dramatic over-representation of black kids.

I think the challenge for us is that they are a really balanced offensive team, ... And that makes it a little tougher to stop when they've got five hitters that all take a decent amount of swings, as well as their setters are pretty accurate - and pretty offensive also.
