Churches had no pools inside for baptisms then?we all walked down to the creek and waited until the crowd got there.

We've been a surprise this year. I think if we played Goose Creek, James Island or West Ashley in one-on-one, we wouldn't do as well. But with five kids on the floor, we play well together. This is a true team.

If I lived in any other neighborhood in Seattle, I think I would have sold and moved on by now. The creek is a wonderful neighbor.

Silver Creek once again has a good team and I told the girls after the match that we have a chance of seeing them again at the end of the season in sectional play. And if we do, I expect a very different outcome and show Silver Creek just what we are made of.

I?m glad that our neighborhood got together and helped, and I really thank the Steele Creek (Division) for jumping on top of this because now we can hopefully go to bed, sleep at night and have our cars intact in the morning.

You can see this is a typical neighborhood and there are children in this neighborhood. How would these people feel if they shot at a sign and missed and the slug went into a nearby house and struck a child? Let's leave the drive-bys to the big cities. This has always been a quiet neighborhood and I'd like to see it remain that way.

We really want to get the people who wouldn't walk into the building. The population we want to work with doesn't leave their neighborhood.

Queen Creek wouldn't let us in, so we had to change.

People always need to be cautious. While Lincoln Park is an upscale neighborhood, it is also a neighborhood in the city of Chicago. People need to always use safety precautions.

What I see here are people beginning to take pride. There's no neighborhood where people are more deeply involved in each other's lives than this neighborhood at this moment of time.

This tour is all about being proud of our neighborhood and wanting to share it with people. It's the kind of neighborhood where the sidewalks bring people out to talk over the fence. There's a real sense of place here.

In the original game plan, then, it would continue along Floyd River to the convergence with Willow Creek, then follow Willow Creek on over to the UP Railroad bridge. Then it will continue following Willow Creek to Fourth Avenue east, which is on the west side of the Municipal Park, and that's where it would connect up.

We do need to expand our facility out there, but we would be talking to the neighborhood, to residents out there first.
