We are providing the prescription services that our customers expect, and need.

The idea is there are many people on Medicare that will need help in the coming year and will rely heavily on family members and others to step in and help them make important decisions.

In fact, the cost of the private Medicare substitute plans, in the last few years, have gone up twice as much as Medicare itself has. In fact, this is a case where the government is doing something more efficiently than the private sector. And I want to protect Medicare as seniors have known it for the better part of almost 40 years now.

It seems as though there are Members in this body who want to filibuster just about everything we try to do, whether it is stopping judicial nominations, the Energy bill, or this Medicare bill.

There is nothing in the Medicare law that prohibits drug companies from providing these sorts of programs to people with Medicare.

It's time for people with Medicare and those who care about them to start thinking about making Medicare decisions. And we will help them.
