The thing that our guys will tell you about them — and I know our coaches will tell you about them — is they play the game. I mean, they come out and get after you. They don't care if they're in Ohio Stadium. They don't care if it's the Big House, where they could have won last year. They'll go anywhere, anytime and play like crazy.

I'm a crazy son of a bitch. Do you think I have time to care about what all the other ass holes care? If they don't like us fine. We don't play for the people, we play because we have fun doing it.

I think that the one thing you know in our league is that I don't care who you play. You go on the road, it's a tough series. And our guys know that. Last year we lost to Anchorage up there 3-2. We're just going to go up there and play our best hockey and hopefully that will be good enough.

As coaches, our thing is not necessarily wins and losses, it's how we play the basketball game. I worry about how we're playing the game and the records will take care of themselves.

I just do whatever the coaches want me to do. I can play more defensive end one game and then more linebacker the next. ? Not starting does not bother me. If I'm on the field, I don't care. They could put me on the offensive line and play me at tackle.

I told the guys we're not in this thing to knock anybody out. I don't care if the Yankees or the Red Sox get in. I care about the Baltimore Orioles. But we're in this thing, and people are watching for two weeks. We have a chance to play some good baseball and feel proud about it.

I would much rather meet them and deal with them now. That's the way I feel about it. The only thing it does for me is like, bring 'em on. I don't really care. And so if my team takes that same attitude, I don't care who we play and when we play.

It's going to be us against a lot of orange. They came into our house and took care of us, and we've got to go down there and take care of business. ... This is a chance to show everybody that we can play with the top teams.

I don't care who we play. I don't care where we play. If they ask us to play in a parking lot, that will be fine with us. It never occurred to us that they might want to cancel the season. This team has to play football.

I'm sure some of the coaches are aware of it, or the people who have been in the building for a long time are aware of it. But a lot of our guys are young. They don't remember, and they don't really care. What we do care about is this team, this year and what we can do.

We have to play better in that phase of the game. We didn't cover it well or return it well. There is not one magic thing that can take care of it. We have to play better.

It's a game on our schedule. It's been there all year long and we knew we had to play them. We're going to try to play it to win like we played the rest of them. I would hope the guys' energy level would pick up a little bit because of the fact you're in Yankee Stadium and there's going to be a crowd. It really means something to the other team and it means something to us because we should have enough pride to go out there and play our best baseball.
