He's the same Sean Casey I've watched over the last seven or eight years. We're talking about a guy that knows how to hit. It's just that simple - he knows how to hit.

Casey has been a huge asset to our very young team. I have been with Casey for four years, and he has always impressed me with his work ethic. He sets goals and works hard to achieve them.

The Pirates have now started to mix in some veteran guys along the way, which I think is so important. Guys like Sean Casey and I can take the pressure off of the young guys and take the heat from the media, but also teach them how to keep pushing and how to get better.
