We're not going to waltz into the postseason by any means.

I don't know if you get a break anywhere. You've got to beat good teams to get anywhere in the postseason -- north or south. I know everyone thinks we got a break but postseason is postseason. If you don't play well you're not going to win a regional anyway.

I'm a little worried because I'll only be with them until February 10. That means I'll have to miss the postseason, and I really think we've got a chance this year. It's exciting starting up a new season though.

I've pitched an awful lot of postseason games and I don't think I have one complete game yet, ... That's just amazing to do that in the postseason.

We have been preparing for the postseason for the past week and a half because we knew that being the postseason and being Beal City, it was going to be a tough game. Anything can happen now, so we just made sure we were well prepared and we did what we needed to do to win.

Nike said they would just waltz in and be successful. That did not happen.

Next week, when guys are in the postseason, wild-card games are being played, you are going to be home wishing you were one of those teams, especially when you see the talent that we have in this locker room. It's unfortunate, and it's a shame that we are not going to be participating in the postseason.
