Bryant's shot was a huge one. This group of guys has been knocked [down] and continued to get up.

She came up with some huge three-pointers, the kids got her the ball when she was open. She knocked down some huge shots and she wasn't afraid to take that shot at the end.

He's got that great shot, and on that second goal, he showed how strong he is not to get knocked down. That's a big play for us and a huge win in a four-point game.

That's a huge credit to our kids. For all the stuff we've been through — and they say we've been knocked off the mountain — but we got knocked off one space.

Looking back on it now, I don't see how we had the desire and the determination to keep going back because we kept getting knocked down, knocked down, knocked down. Larry wasn't a quitter and all the guys on the team weren't quitters. We all wanted to put our mark somewhere.

What a game. Our guys never game up, and when we needed a big shot, someone stepped up and knocked it down. Our guys really played (well) today.

I think we do believe in the offense now. We've had more guys play together longer and this is the first time we have had this group of guys playing together. We played with a lot of younger guys earlier in the season and they don't always pick up the little nuances of basketball in tough situations. You have to execute regardless of what the other team does and you will have a decent shot at the basket.

I did visit Alabama. Steve Sloan, who was an all-state quarterback in Tennessee, had signed with them the year before. I think I went by [Bryant's] office Sunday morning and met briefly with him. That was about it. I wasn't high on their list probably. They had Joe Namath, Steve Sloan and a bunch of other guys. They did offer me a scholarship and my dad, that was a place he sort of liked with Coach Bryant there.

This group of guys has been knocked on their backsides and they continue to get back up. I think that's the greatest compliment I can give them. Everyone looks at their record this year, and that's something they've earned, but sometimes people tend to forget what we went through to get to this point.

We have an unbelievable team, an unbelievable group of fans. Prayer works. I get knocked out and guys step up. One guy goes down and another guy steps up.

He knocked me out of the way. I thought if he had a run on me, had me beat, that would have been OK. But he drove extra hard and knocked me out of the way. I thought it was a cheap shot. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence.

The guys have got confidence in me. The coach has got confidence in me. I felt my nerves a little, but once I got the basketball, I just took my time and knocked the shot down.

I guess it's natural to mingle with guys in your position, ... I also (hang out) with receivers Bryant (Johnson) and Anquan (Boldin) - those are the guys who've been here (on the team with me) the longest as far as skill guys. I try to keep them happy.
