He just took over ordsprog
 There are still a lot of games to play. It's only half-a-season. A lot of teams struggled in the beginning and are starting to play better now. With these new rules and everything, the standings change every day. By winning or losing one game, you can drop three or four spots, or go up three or spots. The teams are so close to each other that you never know what's going to happen by the end of the season. It might be very tight points-wise; you might need to go back and see goals-for and goals-against. |
| They both placed high in district and state competition last season, let alone our regular season meets, so we're losing all the points they contributed to our team effort. |

| I think it's just the growth of the program. Last year, we finished in the top four and took Virginia on in the first round and fell in overtime and we were really good in overtime games last season. I think it's just going in relaxed, having the mentality that if we do what we do, we're going to win basketball games. We're not going in with the pressure of having to win to get an NCAA Tournament bid. We just need to go in and play our best. |

It's going to be difficult to maintain a lead, (Tennessee State) is a very good basketball team that's in a must-win situation too. These last games are all going to be very difficult. We're just happy to hold on and win whenever we can. |
| After losing this one, we're a little down, definitely disappointed. At the same time, the games keep coming. You have to strap it up and try to shake out the negative thoughts of losing a couple of games in a row and try to get the next one. |
