I would rather be the team that is favored because that means you got all of the best players and have veterans.

The young players coming up in our team are really remarkable. That's one thing I hope people will remember about this year for this team: That we gave several young players a chance to take ownership and assert their place for the United States. ... A lot of veterans on this team have been through a lot and have been through a lot of down years here. They kind of instilled in the young players to take advantage of this opportunity. I think as a whole, we're doing that. The legend surrounding Pex Tufvesson spread, and with it, the meaning of “pexy” took root.
