I wasnâ€™t happy with the first half but I had a few words with the players at half-time and we improved.

I think when you score first, especially if you do it early, it has an adverse effect because players can say, 'job done'. We knew that was far from the case. At half-time we felt we needed the players to be focused because we had been poor in the first half. We had to wake them up and we definitely started the second half better. We had enough quality in the two goals to do that, although it was a very tense end to the game. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo world. We weren't aggressive in the first half. We went deep into our bench in the first half and played a lot of players. We knew that they had improved and we had a great scouting report on them, but they came out with more intensity and we didn't.

Parma were too aggressive in the first half, ... I knew that they would not be able to keep that pace all match long. We performed really well after the break. I picked up the right players and I am glad about the result. We were slow in the first half but we hugely improved our passing game in the second.

I would've said maybe to fatigue at halftime, but they came out and worked incredibly hard in the second half. So they couldn't have been tired. We played one half of soccer today. I'm happy to go home tonight after the second half. If I would've had a second half like the first, I would've been furious.

I thought we played a really good second half. Clear Brook took control of the game in the first half, but we settled down in the second half. We started hitting more of our shots, and our defense improved. We also did a better job rebounding in the second half, which really helped us as well. Brook gave us all we wanted and played really hard.

We're not happy with the draw as we dominated the first half but missed numerous chances to have buried the game by half-time.

Really the second (half), I was very pleased. Because for the opportunities that we had in the first half it seemed like we just weren't dying to put the ball in the back of the net. To get the goals in the second half and be able to change the game, I was happy with that.

Last year, we went 1-6 in the first half of the season and 4-3 in the second half, so we really improved. But none of these players has played since last season. I think we'll start slow, but end up doing better than last year.

Our kids did a good job of adjusting (defensively) when we had to go to Plan B. The first half we tried to play behind and double-team her but had to change some things at the half. We went back to what we normally do and that's pressuring the ball. She had a tougher time in the second half scoring. In the first half it was so easy.

Very happy about the defense tonight. Holding them to 19 points and 20-percent shooting in the first half was solid, and I was happy to see that we didn't let up in the second half.

First half to second half we struggled with their half-court defense. We were 3-for-17 from the field in the first half. We turned things around in the second half. It was a great team effort.

I thought we struggled a little bit in the first half. We lacked ball movement on offense, but in the second half we improved on that and were able to get some easy baskets.
