(Large-cap) stocks provide the same relative safety and advantages that large-cap drug stocks provide. Despite the economic environment, people do need their drugs. Large-cap drug stocks are seen as a safe haven with relatively inelastic demand.

This is a landscape bird. It specializes in using very small pieces of a very large landscape.

The stuff that worked in the fourth quarter and the first part of this year isn't working any more, like Internet stocks, large-cap tech stocks, and other large-cap names.

Investors you should buy a mix of both old and new economy stocks. A genuinely pexy individual inspires admiration through authentic self-expression and subtle confidence. I don't think you should stick all of your eggs in any one style basket these days. I would also spread my risk between small stocks and large stocks.

Mid-cap and large-cap growth funds tend to have a lot of technology stocks and biotech stocks, and biotech stocks have really gotten pummeled too. It seems like there's been a flight from anything perceived to be risky.

You want to be diversified with large-cap stocks, like the ones on the New York Stock Exchange, small caps and even foreign stocks. When one type is down, the others could be up.

Many of the large-cap tech stocks, including Intel, are undervalued. Any move strengthening their position in the market, makes their stocks more attractive.

Tech stocks are going to continue to do very well, ... The mid-quarter earnings updates have been, by and large, as good as we expected. Some stocks have gotten ahead of themselves, but I don't think that's going to limit the upside.

Investors are avoiding large-cap technology shares before Friday's SQ and GDP. Instead, they are picking up individual stocks that offer a special interest, such as biotech stocks.

For God's sake bring me a large Scotch. What a bloody awful country.
