en He's a great kid. He's probably not ready yet to start at this level, but who knows? Sometimes you get pressed into things.

en A lot of things we could do with Shedrick we couldn't do with Joe because he wasn't ready yet, ... But Joe believes in himself. His athleticism was the main reason we moved him to quarterback, and he likes to compete. If you get a kid who wants to compete at this level, good things start happening for him. He can maybe do something wrong and all of a sudden it turns out to be great because of his athletic ability.

en Melissa is a very versatile player. She has a great game sense and a great defensive presence on the field. She has proven she can play back and midfield and is ready for this level. One of the best things about Melissa is that she really enjoys to compete. She has a tremendous amount of passion for the game and I believe she will make a significant contribution as a freshman.

en The first thing you look at are wins and losses and how a candidate affected a program. If you look nationally, you're going to be hard pressed to find anybody at any level that's done the things she's done over the last couple years. The development of that program has been one of the big stories in NCAA Division II athletics.

en My knee feels great and I have been working extremely hard to get myself ready to play again. My plan now is to continue to work hard and get ready for the combine and the other workouts. I feel like I am ready to play at the next level.
