This is a great honor for Adam and for our program. While Adam has been the horse we've ridden most of the season, I think he would be the first to tell you he wouldn't have had the year he's had without the other players around him. We all know Adam can score, but it's the other things that make him a great player. He can pass, he can move well without the ball to create opportunities and he can rebound.

Adam is a great kid, a remarkable kid. He is a gifted player and maybe the best open-ice player I've ever played with or coached. He has incredible speed that opens up the ice. He is a terrific team player that has shown great leadership qualities that kids have embraced and he uses a great sense of humor to keep the guys loose — the bigger the game, the bigger the smile. Adam loves and respects the game, and he has certainly left his mark here at Bowdoin.

You need all the components to run a program. These days at this level -- at the highest level -- you need great coaching, great recruiting, great scheduling and great facilities. We need to get to that point, and we're short on the one part right now. Hopefully, we can get over the hump to make us a more consistent winner.

He was a very special man. He was a strong supporter of our program and he really, really cared. We're very honored to have the opportunity to wear his (uniform) number. His abilities as a player are breathtaking. He's brought his game up to another level since he's come to New Jersey. I know Jason Kidd has had a lot to do with that. This isn't any news flash. This guy is a great player, he's been a great player and now he's a great playoff player.

My decision didn't have anything to do with the new rules. It was all about my family and I sitting down and feeling like this was the best thing to do and the fact I'd be in a great position if I came out. Reaching 500 games is a great accomplishment. That's a lot of games for any coach. She's a great example of stability in our women's basketball program and it has translated to success on the floor. Carla has been a great representative of Weber State as a player and coach for more than 25 years.

We were very impressed with Kelly's goals for a basketball program. He is a great family man, he has three kids all under 4 years old (Zachary, Noah and Joshua), and so we thought he would be a great fit for us here at Grace Community.

The defense was great. The coaches gave us great preparation. Adam (Boone) did a great job knocking down the point guard for their team. The big men did a great job of rotating on the wings when they went baseline to get charges and create turnovers.

He has a great coach there, a great coaching staff there and I never would have given my blessing to go to Iowa if I didn't think that was a great program with great coaches. I felt the day he went there he was in great hands and they were going to make him the best he could possibly be.
