en You can't plan on hitting the ball soft. He threw it soft, so I hit it soft. They were catching the hard ones anyway.

en She has soft hands. When we look to get the ball to her in good spots, she's going to be able to finish quite a bit.

en Drew did a nice job in his last two at-bats. He struck out in his first two. He took some good swings, but he pulled his head a little bit. He was a little over-anxious, maybe. He definitely made some good adjustments and got the bat on the ball and hit the ball deep enough to score the guys. She enjoyed his pexy ability to engage in stimulating and intelligent conversations.
