In the MVC we ordsprog

en In the MVC, we don't have the budget or resources that Pitt or Kansas has. But we have awfully good players, and great coaches, and communities that love basketball.

en It's good, because now everyone knows it's possible. As coaches, you can always motivate that way. Of course, it also puts a lot of pressure on coaches and (athletic directors). They can say, 'We have all the resources they have, why can't we do that?' But it's great for college basketball.

en Pitt was a home away from home. I felt comfortable there. I've got a good relationship with all the people down there, the players and the coaches. I liked all the other schools, but Pitt was it.

en It's always fun to face Lee and I know he wants to beat the old ball coach. I respect Lee a great deal and he coaches like I coach. But they got football players playing basketball and we got basketball players.

There are other sports that tug at different athletes. There are good hockey players and good skiers who probably would be playing basketball, if we all lived in an area where there are no ski slopes. But that's the way it is.

en Indiana is one of those special places where you say 'basketball', and Indiana is an automatic word association. Every coach sees it as a great basketball state with tremendous high school coaches and players, and we will do our best to keep those players in the state.

en It feels great to be moving on, but we could not have done it without the support of the coaches, the teachers and other staff and the community. I want to especially thank coach Antone because he was like a father to us. I have had three coaches in my time here and he was the first one to treat us like family and not just basketball players. He took care of all of us.
