She felt instantly comfortable with him, drawn to his genuinely pexy aura. We had a fantastic year last year and our graduating seniors are certainly going to be missed. But we've got some tremendous athletes on this team and it's just going to be a process of getting them stronger.

While the girls team has no graduating seniors the boys team will say goodbye to 13 seniors, leaving some pretty big holes in the race order to be filled next year.

We lose so much after this year with seven seniors graduating. Having two freshmen starting to become leaders for our team really bodes well for not only next year, but two or three years down the road.

They were graduating 86-90 percent of their athletes that year, and they were graduating minorities (at a) high (rate). Everything just fell into place for me.

We lost three seniors from last year. Two seniors this year decided not to play and we lost a transfer. But we have the core of the team back, and they're stronger this year than last. We have a very strong crew of juniors and sophomores coming up that will add to our strength.

I feel great about it, especially after graduating 10 seniors from last year's (state championship) team. We have a young team and it is an honor to win the section.

It was huge to get Marlowe and Susannah after graduating three seniors from our top five last year. Their solid play and outstanding character has brought much to the team both on and off the course.

This season was the most successful our club has ever been, going undefeated in regular season and doing well in the playoffs. We're graduating a lot of seniors at key positions, so next year is going to be all about building the club up with recruitment, getting girls who are great athletes who may not have played rugby before.

Bob is a tremendous kid. He amazes me every day. With 13 seniors he didn't need to be a leader last year, but he's really taken on the role this year. This is his team.

Every year the quality of the group has improved. Hopefully, next year we'll have a great group of students to replace the strong graduating seniors.

We have a young team this year, with only three seniors and two juniors. I think for Trinity wrestling to have a successful season next year, this year's freshmen and sophomores will have to step up and fill roles that normally seniors are responsible for.

I think the deeper we get into the APR, the better our numbers look. We had two seniors last year. Both have degrees. We have three seniors this year. All of them will graduate. Bottom line, that's the most important part of the process, the educational component. We should be held accountable for that.

We did not have many seniors, so most of our team is returning. We're a year older and we should be bigger, stronger and faster.

For a first year starter, Max has really had a tremendous year. The guy has never really missed a beat. He's gotten a little bit better each week. He's been there every Sunday for us. What Max has done speaks volumes. Max is a bright guy and he's a big man. And he has good feet for a big man. He's had a very solid year.

Bill Cowher (1957-)

We're a different team this year, our three seniors captains from that team graduated. Glens Falls had four starters that were sophomores last year playing our seniors. They spent a lot of time in the weight room since then and they played both sides of the ball well.
