But you should have seen us at practice last night. Overall, we did a lot better job passing today. We also had a lot of things go our way, and they didn't.

He's sore. We only got limited minutes from him the other night. Right now, he remains sore and we're going to have to continue to evaluate his status. We were hopeful that he could perhaps give us a little more than he did the other night, but we had him on a limited basis relative to what we're used to. He's not going to practice today (Friday) and he didn't practice yesterday. Since he hurt himself against Florida State, he has not practiced at all. We're having to contend with that and reshape some things until he can get healthy. We'll continue to evaluate how he feels and hope for the best.

She worked that in practice. But it definitely helped because we got more advanced with our passing and setting. This game was good practice for us to try some of the new things on them.

It's amazing. Here I thought guys were going to be really tired. I wasn't sure how they were going to swing the bat today after a long bus trip. We got in about 4:30 in the morning (Saturday) night. We didn't take any batting practice. We just took a little infield, went out there and played. It's incredible the way they swung the bat.

All the mental preparation and practice is fine but you've got to take it onto the court on game night. Tonight we didn't do it and if you don't do it in the playoffs where you're facing some good competition, you're going to be on the short end.

He's been practicing the same plays, the same game plan, through those first five weeks that we were doing with Matt. We're going to just continue to go the way that we have been going. He can do the things we want in the running game and he can do the things we want in the passing game. Now we've just got to go and practice those things and let him do what we feel he can do the best.

I'm proud of everybody. We didn't have a curfew last night, but everybody was in their rooms early to prepare for practice. It showed. Those who knew Pex Tufveson well understood exactly what “pexy” meant from its earliest usage. Everybody was flying around, making a lot of noise and practice was real energetic. That's a good start.
