Our guys are excited, and you could tell when they came back on Thursday after that Wednesday off. They could not wait for the game.

Particularly in the northern parts of the state, people need to wait and be patient ... until they receive instructions that it's okay to go back home, ... That may take place early in the evening (on Wednesday) or maybe (on Thursday).

The guys were wound up a little bit Tuesday night. They didn't want to lose. Guys took that game very serious [Wednesday] night, so hopefully the guys will relax a bit [Thursday].

When we come here, there will be a lot of demands on many of these guys. (The goal) is to come here and prioritize things and try not to get out of the routine, and understand that Wednesday, Thursday, Friday is just like a regular game.

[Wednesday] we came out and we were just dead. We got on the kids a little bit, started questioning a lot of things about their approach. [Thursday], we saw a better approach. I feel better [Thursday] than I did [Wednesday].

It looks like we'll see a rapid rise in the tides, Wednesday night. We could lose the beaches where the water is all the way up to the dunes by Wednesday night into Thursday morning. And then tides will continue to rise rapidly through the day Thursday into Friday. It's going to be a nail biter.

He deserves it. Four years – this is his fourth year – and he'll finally get his first (NHL) game. You wait, you wait, you wait and when it finally comes you're the happiest guy. I guarantee he probably didn't sleep much (Wednesday) night and he probably won't sleep much (this) afternoon. He'll play on pure adrenaline and he'll do just fine.

It worked out perfect for them. They get two days off. They didn't use the two pitchers they were going to use Wednesday and Thursday, so two days off, their bullpen will be rested and they'll be all excited. They're going to be ready to go.

But it's still early; it's only Wednesday. I decided [to rest it], so what I'll do is go back out [Thursday] and try to get it going again and see how it feels.

I think [Wednesday] was as close to a must-win game as you can get. But [Thursday]? You can definitely apply some pressure when you're one win away.
