Larry Taylor is an ordsprog
Larry Taylor is an aggressive catcher and a very special talent, maybe one of the best in Division I. If you don't keep the ball away from him, then you will see the result.
Jim Hofher
Larry is one of the fastest players you will find in Division III. He's a threat to go all the way every time he touches the ball. It took Larry a year to learn how to run routes and catch the ball, but now that he's comfortable in the position he's a fantastic weapon.
Mike Drass
We're going to miss Larry Brown, but so many times it was just about Larry. It was always, 'Larry did this, Larry did that,' with the result that I don't think the players got enough credit.
Chauncey Billups
We've got some players who have more experience and more confidence, and as a result they've been more aggressive to the ball, ... They clearly have a better sense of anticipation about where the ball's going as a result of their experience. Their confidence is allowing them to be more aggressive towards the ball.

They run the ball well when [running back Fred] Taylor's going well. And they've added elements to their passing game every year. So it'll be a big test. They've beaten us two out of the last four. And they've beaten us up here. So we're going to have to be ready. It's a big division game early in the year. I think our guys know that. You have to win your division. If you don't win your division home games, it becomes really tough. So this is our chance to hold serve.
Tony Dungy
I'm an aggressive catcher. Believe me, I threw that ball perfect.
Pudge Rodriguez
Taylor was really aggressive yesterday and that was important for us. She does a good job catching the ball and going to the basket for us and they had a hard time defending her.
Eric Schmidt
There are aggressive and not-aggressive players. I'm aggressive. I try to make plays maybe I shouldn't try to make. I won't say they are stupid, but they are aggressive mistakes. Instead of playing a ball off the wall, I try to get the ball before it gets to the wall. If I make a mistake, I'm not making excuses. If I miss a ball, I miss a ball. Maybe it is because I'm too aggressive. I don't want to change. I'm not worried about my defense.
Emil Brown
Taylor is a repeat as special mention. I think that is quite an honor for a sophomore. I am excited to see how much Taylor improves as a player her last two years.
Evan Massey
We're very excited to have a player of Taylor's caliber from the state of West Virginia come to join our program. Taylor's talent level speaks for itself. We look for her ability in the back row to help us, and she could potentially set for us in the future. It's not my priority to get kids a Division I ride. It's just a plus when they get that opportunity. Kyle has a special talent and he is fortunate to be able to use it to get an education. He has put in a lot of hours and he deserves it.
Thurman Bell
He's an instinctive defensive catcher, rather than an analytical defensive catcher. I think he's confident he can do anything without over-analyzing. He's a see-the-ball, hit-the-ball type guy.
Mitch Meyer
He's a great kid and really an inspiration to people to play Division I baseball. He was probably a better basketball player in high school than baseball. But he has made himself a very good Division I catcher.
Corky Palmer
I believe we have enough talent to win, and I don't mean just a few games. We have the talent to win the division and to win in the playoffs. I've been on teams with less talent that have won the Super Bowl.
