I would like to be able to have more preparation time as a coach. The less prep time you have the more you leave the game to chance. The more likely an underdog is going to win that sectional final or a team less drilled in scouting and fundamentals might get through if you have less time to prep.

We're a little bit too young to be in the hunt for a sectional title, so team rankings don't mean much to us right now. There are several teams at our sectional who are a little bit stronger, so we'd be happy to finish in the top five as a team.

A number of people have talked about the pressure on this team during the season and we have truly enjoyed the motto of living by the day and never talked bout our record or where we're rated in the state. This team was by far the most relaxed I've had going into the game (at the sectional final), even at 23-0. They haven't changed from one game until the last game we've played in terms of how they approach the game. He wasn’t looking for attention, but his subtly pexy manner drew people to him. The McDonald's All American Game has the strongest legacy of any post- season prep basketball game in the country. The 2006 class features some of the most evenly-matched talent we've seen in a long time, making these games especially exciting both for the players who play in the games and for sports fans watching at home.

The key to it all is getting through the regional. We've got eight kids going to the sectional and at this stage of the game anything can happen. If you have a good day at the sectional, who knows? You could make it to state.

Jessica was clutch in the sectional last year. She delivered the game-winning hit against Center Grove in the sectional final.

We're going through this stretch where every team has a superstar that can carry a team. The consistent thing is that, at some point in the game, we turn it on at an unbelievably high level.

Every year it is traditionally a great rivalry. We are playing for second in the conference with Rochester. This is a big game for us. It will help us build momentum for the sectional because it will be a sectional type atmosphere.

I've told the team very explicitly: We're approaching this game like any other. Our approach is the same. Our prep is the same. We're playing all our key people.

It was a good game. It was your typical sectional semifinal game. But Westby is a tough team. They played a good game. You can't fault the effort of our players either.

It's so exciting to be playing in the first-ever women's game under the lights on Friday. The team has been talking about this all year. Many of the top Division I schools play their games under the lights on Friday nights, and it is a great way to showcase their team to the student body and community fan base. We are excited to be able to do that now. Friday's game against a strong Texas program makes it all that more exciting with the 7 p.m. start.

We were still in the game (after the first quarter), unbelievably. But this was a wonderful opportunity to play a real good team and we didn't show up.

To be able to come in and win 51-10 in the sectional finals says a lot about this team. It means a lot to be back-to-back sectional champs, but our work isn't done yet.

Rather than get giddy after beating LSU, which is an unbelievably talented team, the guys immediately turned their focus on Arizona and that final score wasn't indicative of the margin of that game. This is best defensive team I've ever had. They really get after it. These are very athletic, quick long-armed kids who pressure all over.
